COQUITLAM, BC – Shortly before 3pm on Tuesday December 29th, 209, the Coquitlam RCMP received a report from Nav Canada that a small 2-seater Cessna 150F with one pilot on board was requesting an emergency landing site in the Coquitlam or Port Coquitlam area.

The pilot was able to land his aircraft at Reeve Park, at Welcher Ave and Reeve Street in Port Coquitlam.

There were no injuries to the pilot or anyone on the ground. There is minor damage to the airplane. The plane may have struck a few tree tops in it’s decent.

Tansport Canada and the Coquitlam RCMP are investigating.
