Canadian Forces Contribute to RIMPAC 2010

COMOX, BC – Two Air Force squadrons, 405 (Maritime Patrol) Squadron from 14 Wing Greenwood, N.S., and 407 (Long Range Patrol) Squadron from 19 Wing Comox, B.C., are participating in RIMPAC (Rim of the Pacific) 2010, a multi-national exercise taking place in Hawaii from June 23 to August 10.

ST. LOUIS – The Boeing Company today submitted a proposal to the U.S. Air Force to provide the service with a next-generation aerial refueling tanker aircraft. Based on Boeing’s 767 commercial airplane, the NewGen Tanker would replace 179 of the 400 Eisenhower-era KC-135 aircraft currently in the Air Force fleet.
