RICHMOND, BC – At 10:43 this morning Richmond RCMP received information of a bomb threat on a Cathay Pacific flight. The flight was escorted in by two Canadian Forces aircraft. The plane landed safely at 1:35pm & all passengers were deplaned. All necessary screening procedures were carried out & nothing of concern was identified aboard the aircraft.

No one was injured during this incident & the investigation is continuing. Richmond RCMP would like to reassure the public that there is no threat to the traveling public at this time.
