RICHMOND, BC – London Air Services announced today the addition of a Bombardier Challenger 650 to its managed aircraft fleet.

The Challenger 650 will service clients based out of Vancouver from a wide range of business sectors, with the widest-in-class cabin in its class, flying up to 4000 miles non-stop.

““We have seen a steady increase in chartered aviation over the past couple of years out of YVR”,” said Dylan Thomas, president, London Air Services. ““Our client was looking at our 19 years of commercial aviation experience, combined with our exemplary safety record and customers service standards when they chose LAS. We are proud of the relationship we have with this client and to be selected to manage their Challenger 650.””

The only Canadian operator to earn both the Wyvern Wingman Standard and International Standard for Business Aviation Operations certifications, London Air Services is continually recognized for its stringent safety standards and customer service excellence.

Offering complete aircraft management services, LAS offers flight crew management, accounting services, compliance and safety requirements, bulk fuel pricing and insurance rates, as well as hangaring in its state-of-the-art London Aviation Centre, located at Vancouver’s YVR South Terminal.

London Air owns and operates 10 aircraft for charter and manages private aircraft for a variety of clients in industries ranging from oil and gas, forestry, film and real estate development.

The LAS fleet consists of five Bombardier Learjet 75s, three Bombardier Challengers (604, 605 and 650) as well as two AW139 helicopters.
