LOUIS – Boeing has delivered the 79th — and final — upgraded CF-18 Hornet aircraft to the Canadian Department of National Defence during a ceremony in Mirabel, Quebec, hosted by industry partner L-3 Communications MAS, who performed final upgrade installations. The delivery brings the nine-year, two-phased CF-18 Modernization Project to a close.

EVERETT, Wash. – A second Boeing 747-8 Freighter, RC 522, successfully completed its first flight Sunday evening. The airplane took off from Paine Field in Everett, Wash., for a two-and-a-half-hour flight and landed at Boeing Field in Seattle.

SEATTLE, WA – EGYPTAIR and leasing company GE Capital Aviation Services took delivery Monday of the first Boeing 777-300ER (Extended Range) commercial jetliner to join EGYPTAIR’s fleet. EGYPTAIR operates a fleet of five Boeing 777-200ERs, five 737-500s and 12 737-800s, with another eight 737-800s on order directly from Boeing.
