COMOX, B.C. – The CF-18 National Demonstration Team will commence preparations for the 2011 air show season when it arrives in Comox on Sunday to begin its annual training. The Team will stay in Comox for one week.

The Demo Hornet, which features brilliant tail art to illustrate the 2011 theme, Supporting Our Military Families, will be seen and heard flying over the Comox area at varying times throughout the next week.

The Canadian Forces attempts to minimize any negative impact which may be created by our presence, taking into account the requirement to train in order to maintain the highest degree of proficiency and preparedness. Every effort will be made to limit the flying activities to normal daytime working hours to minimize disturbances to the public.
