Esterline CMC Electronics TacView Portable Mission Displays Commended in Trials

CMC TacView® portable mission displays were commended in the 2010 CWID final report for increasing situational awareness and critical real-time information, which improves overall mission effectiveness and safety.
CWID’s report said, “CMC successfully demonstrated the features and functions of TacView to provide the flight deck crew with improved situational awareness and critical real-time information which in turn can enhance mission effectiveness and safety.”
During the June 2010 trials, members of the Canadian Air Force and the U.S. Air Force evaluated the TacView systems for suitability in their respective theatres of operations through simulated joint U.S. and Canadian search and rescue missions.
