CALGARY, AB – WestJet today announced that it has been inducted into Canada’s 10 Most Admired Corporate Cultures Hall of Fame at an awards gala hosted by Waterstone Human Capital.
For the last four years, WestJet has claimed the top spot in Waterstone’s study of Canada’s 10 Most Admired Corporate Cultures. The program recognizes Canadian companies for having a culture that helps them to achieve a great financial performance and competitive advantage.
“We are thrilled to see the Canadian business community recognize our corporate culture for the fifth straight year,” said Ferio Pugliese, WestJet’s Executive Vice-President, People and Culture. “Keeping our culture vibrant and relevant as we grow, exploring exciting opportunities and striving to become one of the top five international airlines can be challenging. But the passion and hard work of our WestJetters ensures that our culture evolves as WestJet evolves.”
In order to be inducted to the Hall of Fame, organizations must have been named to Waterstone Human Capital’s Canada’s 10 Most Admired Corporate Cultures program four times.
Dedicated WestJetters from across the country were on hand to accept the honour at the hall of fame celebration in Toronto.
